Thursday and Sunday are our "Seter"days.

Every Thursday from week 25 to 34
Every Sunday from week 22 to 40

This is a 4 hour activity with animals, nature and life at setra. An old, norwegian tradition, seter is where our farmers went with their animals during summer to let the animals pasture and also to milk, make cheese and so on. A seter is normally situated on higher ground than the farm itself. Here at Langedrag we try to give you a short glimpse of how it was.

• The seterday starts at 10:15 with a 1,5 km walk to the seter.
• We have our packhorse as well as goats and perhaps a cow or two with us.
• Young and old can learn how to make charcoal-.sticks for drawing, like they used to do.
• We show how white goatcheese is made.
• You can make your own "melkelapp", and taste our juniper-tea.

Start: 10.15 Meet up at the small houses on the farmyard.

End: We'll return to the farm at 14.00

Price: Kr 225,- pr person, in addition the cost of entrancefee for daily visitors. Children under the age of 3 are free.
