Join us at Setra

One of Norways oldest traditions, are the setra. A seter is where Norwegians moved their livestock during the summer months as well as their whole family, and many traditions; like our brown goat cheese, comes from the seter-culture here in Norway.
During seterday here at Langedrag, you will learn more about this old norwegian culture, such as milking goats, making cheese and also melkelapp, which is kind of like a pancake, but not quite.
You can also cuddle the animals, learn to make your own charcoal-stick to draw with and enjoy the day far away from modern stress and availability.

We leave Langedrag at 10:00 with horses, goats and perhaps a cow and walk to the seter, approximately 2,5 km from Langedrag together with the animals.

This activity is only available during summer, medio June to August, Thursdays and Sundays.

This can be booked online: Book entrance and activities
